THE STUDIO

The recording studio consists of a control room, two recording booths, a kitchen, bathroom and rehearsal studio.
The studio utilizes a RME Fireface 800 sound card interface allowing recordings to be done at 24bit 44.1 khz – 128 khz.
Cubase 5 is currently the DAW platform for recording and mixing, while Wavelab 5 the mastering suite. The studio is also capable of multi-tracking 32 channels from two separate booths.
The entire studio is acoustically treated with various materials, resulting in a controlled audio environment. Recording booth A- is acoustically dead when compared to recording booth B- allowing for more options when recording. The control room has been treated using an assortment of custom designed bass traps suspended ceiling absorbers, diffusers and graphic EQ’s, resulting in a flat but natural sounding room that you can trust.
